Amsterdam advises Morubel Holding B.V. on divestment of Morubel N.V.

July 15, 2014

Our Amsterdam office has advised Morubel Holding N.V. on the divestment of Morubel N.V. in a controlled auction. Current negotiations are ongoing with, inter alia, Dutch PE fund Bencis Capital, and the current owners are in an auction process for the sale of Morubel N.V.

Morubel N.V. used to form part of the Heiploeg group, the largest shrimp producer in Europe and previously owned by Gilde Buy-Out Fund. Heiploeg has gone bankrupt and the assets have been sold to Parleviet, save for Morubel Holding N.V. which has been carved out of that transaction.

The team comprised Saskia Blokland, Ep Hannema, Joke Everts and Stefanie Walthaus.
